Trends in e-learning: What does it mean for libraries?
 While in some sectors e-learning may seem "old hat", the world of e-learning continues to change at a rapid pace. While many libraries have fully developed e-learning environments, many are just getting beginning to explore the possibilities.

Registration for Access PA Fall 2008 Training
The Access PA Fall '08 live training sessions will consist of 3 all-day Beginner sessions and 21 all-day Refresher sessions, with continental breakfast and lunch provided, free of charge. Sign-in begins at 8:15am, with all sessions beginning promptly at 9am and ending at 3pm. It is recommended that librarians and support staff that have never received formal training attend a Beginner session which will cover Access Pennsylvania Database systems, and a complete overview of the new WebFeat Statewide Federated Search Engine.

The Refresher sessions are for experienced users and will include an update of Access Pennsylvania Database systems in the morning and a complete overview of the new WebFeat Statewide Federated Search Engine, along with POWER Library database updates, in the afternoon. You must attend both the morning and afternoon parts of the Refresher training session.
